Beam of Light
( Below is a story I wrote after being inspired by a friend of mine who had to write on the topic ' beam of light ' for a contest. So it is a conversation between a prison inmate and the duty guard. ) Prisoner: Hello there I want to ask you if this interests you. Can you see that beam of light coming through my french window. Funny I call it french cause this box is so small when I close one of my eyes its the only thing I see. So what do u think about it. Hmm The thing is sometimes I feel that Mr God himself has opened that little door to what he calls home and is trying to give me hope that I will survive. Funny again because I aint alive am I? Sentenced to this small 5x5 box of 1feet thick concrete walls with a door made of solid steel so hard that not even a bazooka could blow it apart. Ha anyways back to where we were ; your turn.
